This project allowed us to design without boundaries, it was one of the most exciting and creative project we had to date. We are able to utilize different technologies to get the job accomplished. The technologies used included: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Dreamweaver, PHP, Javascript and MySQL.
The long schedule and time we had to work on this project allowed us to be extremely creative in developing ideas that satisfied our client. It also allowed us to give the clients our best work, amid the excitement of working for a special cause.
Our designers created marketing materials, such as the logo, button, fliers, and postcards for the event. There were no restrictions on their creativity. That allowed them to use the theme of the Caribbean to really develop materials that would be accepted by the directed target of the Caribbean Community. After talking to the client and thier desired needs it was easy to become really creative with this project.
Our website developers utilized dynamic programming using php and MySQL to develop this site. The site has features such as news, and participant registration. Our team was very excited to develop and work with the design team to accomplish creating this site.
Overall, this was a successful and exciting project for our team and we look forward to many more like this one.
